Black and white photograph of the interior of Cuffnells house, Egerton Road, Weybridge, Surrey. The organ is shown in the background. Dimensions of original photograph: 15.7 (h) x 20.7 (w) cm. One of the cobra vases on the mantlepiece was used by Van Sommer used in his still life 'Autochrome of cobra and cowslips' (P/VSM/1/9).
William Van Sommer sold Cuffnells on the 8 September 1930 for £4,000. During this time he advertised for sale the pre-war electric organ, 3 manuals, 19 speaking stops, complete with oak casing for £1,200, described as 'suitable for a small church' (see Richard Joscelyne's 'A Short History of Cuffnells')
