Coloured engraved plate depicting designs for two 'peach houses'. Includes two sections, an elevation and plan with a scale bar to the bottom. The book explains that 'Lady Jennings was desirous the building should assume an architectural appearance …. This building was also designed by W. T. Aiton, Esq'. The house was purchased by Lady Jennings [Clerke] in 1792. Plans were drawn up by Humphry Repton to transform the house, but these plans were ultimately not carried out. The book plate bears the imprints 'Section of Green House', 'Section of Peachery', 'Elevation', 'Plan' and 'London, Published Septr. 1st 1806, by J. Taylor, 59, High Holborn'.
