Coloured engraved plate depicting designs for a 'range of hot houses'. Includes longitudinal sections, transverse sections, an elevation, plan and two scale bars, one under the transverse sections labelled 'Scale for Sections' and one at the bottom of the plate labelled 'Scale for Plan'. Described in the book as being 'a complete Range executed for the late JOHN ANT. RUCKER, Esq .... divided into six houses, each forty feet in length, making the whole two hundred and forty feet .... This range was built from the designs of W. T. Aiton, Esq'. The book plate bears the imprints 'Longitudinal Section of one Pinery', 'Longitudinal Section of one Vinery', 'Transverse Section of one Peach House', 'Transverse Section of one Vinery', 'Transverse Section of one Pinery', 'Elevation', 'Plan' and 'London, Published Septr. 1st. 1806, by J.
