Coloured engraved plate depicting designs for a 'conservatory'. Includes a transverse section, longitudinal section, elevation and plan with a scale bar to the bottom. As of 2023, Powderham Castle, Exeter, Devon is open to the public and is occupied by the 28th generation of the family to live in the castle. The book plate bears the imprints 'Transverse Section', 'Longitudinal Section', 'Elevation' 'Plan' and 'London, Published Septr. 1st. 1806, by J. Taylor 59 High Holborn'. From the book 'Plans, elevations and sections, of hot-houses' by George Tod
