Written from Munstead Wood, Godalming, [Surrey]. Manuscript\r\nJekyll urges Brand to send the Ford van, despite the expense, to allow enough space for the plants and asks her to send wine cases and a nurseryman’s basket; she encourages Brand to ask her for advice; she advises planting thirty Veronica traversii as a tolerant shrub for the double dry wall and can send these with the rest; it is similar to her own wall on which she can grow anything; she will mark the labels of plants in Brand’s extra order with the word ‘extra’; she replies to Brand’s enquiry about a plant named ‘Thistle Silver Queen’ which Jekyll suggests may be Eryngium giganteum; she gives directions to Munstead Wood for the driver.
