Colour printed engraved plate depicting a large cooking pot with a group of vegetables, led by cabbages, marching into the pot. A fire is stoked beneath the pot by a group of figures. The artist uses anthropomorphism to depict the vegetables in a humorous style. From the book 'L'empire des légumes' by Eugène Nus'. Inscription: '23' handwritten in pencil in the TL corner
