Written from Dangstein, Petersfield. Manuscript
She is glad to help Maw when he has been so generous to them; they do not have the Pistia [Pistia stratiotes] but Barr [Peter Barr, nursery owner] thinks he can get it; they have Limnocharis plumerii [Limnocharis flava] and Limnocharis humboldtii [Hydrocleys nymphoides]; they can give Maw two more plants of the ‘oyster’ [a name used for various species]; she asks Maw to wait until they have attempted to get the Pistia, and to let her know anything else he would like; they hope to be in London at the end of April, and she invites Maw to visit and see how his vases look. Dated 3rd [?Jan-Apr 1876; 1876 added in a different hand; Nevill refers to a trip to London at the end of April 1876 in letter written on 22 Apr 1876, ref MAW/1/274]
