She thanks Maw for the three vases and plate which she unpacked this morning; she cannot stop admiring them and is putting them up in the drawing room; she prefers the two vases of Maw’s make to the foreign one; she has a yellow plate of Queen Elizabeth to complement Maw’s blue; she only returned late on Saturday and could not resist unpacking them yesterday; they hope to go to Brussels [Belgium] and Venice [Italy] for a month, from the 16th; after that they will be at Dangstein and hope that Maw will visit them. Dated 6th [6 Sep 1875; the Nevills visited Europe, attending the Ghent Fruit or Pomological Show which took place in Sep 1875]
