His father [John Dillwyn Llewellyn] forwarded him Maw’s letter; he invites Maw to visit any time for a day or two to see anything they have to show; he has lived elsewhere for 18 years and has only just returned as his father has settled in London; he finds the gardens full of ‘herbaceous treasures’ collected by his parents; wild narcissus is plentiful in the woods and should be in flower by 10 Mar; Swansea, their best station, is five miles away; other Great Western Railway stations nearby are Cockett and Loughor, which are ‘slow train stations’; on the London and North Western Railway they have Gorseinon, only a mile and a half away; he will send for Maw from the station at any time
