He thanks Maw for the plants, which arrived safely; he wishes Maw could see the scarlet begonias from the Andes on their rockwork, and offers to give him some if he does not have any; he suggests Maw come up for a night to meet G.P. Hunot [George Pierre Hunot, British vice consul at Safi, Morocco] of Saffi [Safi] next week, probably on Wednesday; they can give him a bed; he will write about the other plants Maw offered; he asks if it would not be too much trouble for one of Maw’s people to send him a table of heights answering to aneroid readings for every 1/10 inch from 25-31 inches
