He thinks they should leave on the 29th, and has written to Ball [John Ball, botanist], who was there yesterday and is very excited for the trip; he is getting on with preparations as per their agreement; one of the boxes has a key that will not fit, so he will take it back; he asks which boxes Maw takes to pack live plants in to send to England, and asks for some if he is getting any made; he asks what to do with Maw’s panniers
