He is glad Maw is safely home; he may send Robinson [unidentified] whenever it suits him and Duncan [unidentified] will take care of him; Duncan’s orchids are coming along beautifully; he thanks Maw for the plan of the kiln, which Mr Smith [John Smith, curator at Kew] approves of and will have built at Kew; he asks for a scale drawing; they will be glad of an Asplenium petrarchae as theirs is small
