The 7 livraisons contain 103 hand-coloured, unnumbered etchings. Each plate bears the French vernacular name of the plant as the main title, with Latin name/s and a description in French underneath. All but five plates are signed by the artist/engraver. The Lindley Library copy closely resembles the Hunt copy (Hunt 688, apart from several variations in the order of binding of the plates), with one exception. Our Livraison 6 (plates 60-73) contains "Vinca minor" (as in the Plesch and Stiftung fur Botanik copies) but not "Mirabilis Jalpaca" as in Hunt. The total number of plates therefore ought to be 104, as in the Stiftung fur Botanik copy.
