Mounted colour slide of Valerie Finnis (1924-2006) speaking with her gardener at the Dower House (Boughton House). Ink inscription on sleeve: '11 1 21-40'. After her marriage to Sir David Scott, Valerie was also known as Lady Montagu Douglas Scott. Valerie married David in 1970 and moved into his home, the Dower House, part of Boughton House and one of the seats of the Duke of Buccleuch. Finnis lived at the Dowe House after Sir David's death in 2006.
