Sepia-tinted photographic postcard showing a view of a carpet bed on The Leas, Folkestone. The Leas, Folkestone, was designed by Decimus Burton in the mid-19th century; it included a small park overlooking the North Sea. In the 1920s Pulham & Son encased the cliffs below this park in their artificial stone to make probably the largest artificial rockwork in Britain
