Uncoloured photographic postcard showing a view of the lake in Connaught Park, Dover, with Dover Castle in the distance. Pencil: [personal message] [address in Gravesend supplied]. Connaught Park, Dover, was opened in 1883, designed by Robert Chignell. The park deteriorated in condition after 1974, but in 2007 a Friends' organisation was established, and improvements have been carried out
