Coloured postcard showing a view of the lake in Connaught Park, Dover, with Dover Castle in the distance. Connaught Park, Dover, was opened in 1883, designed by Robert Chignell. The park deteriorated in condition after 1974, but in 2007 a Friends' organisation was established, and improvements have been carried out
