Crow Nest Park, Dewsbury, was opened in 1893, Dewsbury Council having bought the Crow Nest estate from the Bedford family; the conversion of the gardens and park was planned by the borough surveyor H. C. Marks, and the landscaping carried out by the park superintendent Daniels
