Uncoloured photographic postcard showing a view of Rougemont Gardens, Exeter. Rougemont Gardens, Exeter, was originally part of the defences of Rougemont or Exeter Castle, a Norman castle largely demolished in the 18th century and replaced by a house by Wyatt, and the ditch below the castle wall forms part of the ground. The site was purchased by the local authority in 1912 and developed for use as a municipal park
