Coloured postcard showing a view in Scott Park, Burnley. Ink: [personal message] [address in Bolton supplied]. Scott Park, Burnley, was made using funds bequeathed by an alderman, John Hargreaves Scott; it was designed by Robert Murray, with the aid of the Borough Surveyor F.S. Button and his assistant G.H. Pickles, and opened in 1895. Pickles designed a monument to Scott which was unveiled in 1898
