Uncoloured photographic postcard of a view in Union Terrace Gardens, Aberdeen, with the Caledonian Hotel in the distance. Pencil: [personal message] [address in Perth supplied]. Union Terrace Gardens, Aberdeen, was laid out in a small river valley in central Aberdeen and opened as a municipal park in 1879. Most of the postcards of this garden show a view looking up to His Majesty's Theatre (opened in 1906)
