Ink: My dear Jesie [sic] Pleased to tell you Gladys is getting on nicely will se eyou on Thursday love M[?] (address in Theydon Bois provided). Lloyd Park was originally the grounds of a house in which the newspaper publisher Edward Lloyd (1815-1890) lived; his son donated the estate to Walthamstow Council for use as a park, and it was opened in 1900
