Uncoloured postcard of the bandstand in Clapham Common. Clapham Common was converted into a municipal park under the terms of the Metropolitan Commons Act 1878; it has a bandstand copied from the RHS bandstands at Kensington (see Garden History vol 29 pp. 214-216), and a temperance fountain by August van Kreling (cast by F. Miller, erected 1895)
