He thanks Robinson for his letter and the book; Robinson’s earlier books were of great interest and he will welcome a first sight of Robinson’s ‘Garden’, about which Vernon[?] [?Vernon Lushington] had already informed him; he would have liked to have shown Robinson the views at Edgewood (there is nothing else here worth seeing) or to have given him a dip into their famous noon-day pot; if he visits England again he would like to see Robinson and enjoy the garden introductions he might give him, but a large brood of children keeps him at home
