As Robinson mentioned five columns at a guinea per column he did not wish to exceed that number without his approval; Robinson may shorten any that are too long; Lady Barker, the editor, paid him ‘for the use of’ which is usual where there is an idea of subsequent publication; he would want to publish, and with illustrations the book might be acceptable; he will say nothing about their private arrangements; he thanks Robinson for helping to advertise his rose book; the tulip business is too nauseous
