He thanks him for the name of the book; she thinks vegetarianism is gaining popularity; the amount of food she gets from her garden is wonderful but they are soon to have a drought; she lunched with Susan Lushington recently who talked about Robinson and the old days; Earle’s good gardener died in spring; they had worked together for 29 years; she has only got the second gardener as she could not turn out the widow; it gives her a lot of work to do, which is difficult at her age; she asks what is going to happen in Ireland
