Coloured real photo postcard of the lake and McGrigor Obelisk in Duthie Park, Aberdeen. Duthie Park was donated to Aberdeen Council in 1881 by Lady Elizabeth Duthie, and opened in 1883. The winter garden, opened in 1899, was demolished in 1969 after storm damage and has been replaced by the David Welch Winter Gardens. The McGrigor Obelisk, shown in this card, was originally erected at Marischal College, Aberdeen, and moved to the park in 1905
