Marking the Platinum Jubilee with a new royal signature painting
To commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of our Royal Patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, in 2022, the RHS commissioned a new royal signature painting by artist Gillian Barlow.
This special botanical artwork joins a collection of royal signatures in the RHS Lindley Library, with autographs of the crowned heads of Europe spanning over 200 years. In this video, Gillian speaks about the process of creating the painting which features flowers you'll find at our RHS Gardens.
