Scope & content
They received a note from Mr Theodor Hartweg in Tepic [Mexico] over two months ago, dated 12 Mar, saying he had sent a tin case addressed to the care of Messrs H.J. Blume, to be forwarded to Vera Cruz [Veracruz, Mexico] and to the Royal Mail steamer; two other dispatches have since arrived, but they have heard no news of the tin case of seeds; he asks them to send Hartweg's collections as swiftly as possible; the Horticultural Society will reimburse any charges and expenses; two additional boxes were forwarded to them on 9 Mar, marked HS5-6, to be forwarded to Messrs Jolly & Co, agents of the Royal Mail Steam Packets in Tampico [Mexico]
