Joseph's letter has just arrived; Mr Cannon [unidentified] 'takes this to town'; the ship will be crowded until Sierra Leone, and he fears that Don [George Don] will not have a cabin to himself before Madeira, but this affects only his personal comfort; he will dine with Sir H. Montgomery [Henry Conyngham Montgomery, Irish military officer and politician] at Ryde [Isle of Wight] today
