He received 'a few lines' from Fortune [Robert Fortune] in Hong Kong dated 31 Jan, and learned that he had sent a box of skins for him, and the rest for Leadbeater [?John Leadbeater, natural history dealer and taxidermist in London] by the Cornwall; they should be forwarded to him when they arrive; Fortune did not want to give a price for them; he thought of asking Leadbeater to fix a price, but as he also has interest in the case, an outsider should decide on the price
