Joseph Milligan (1807-c.1883) was a British surgeon, natural historian and colonial administrator. He was secretary to the Royal Society of Tasmania. From 1843 to 1855 worked as the superintendent and medical officer of the Tasmanian Aborigines. He was also a plant collector..
