Alexander McKenzie (c.1829-1893) was Landscape designer to the Metropolitan Board of Works. He designed several public parks, including Alexandra Palace and Finsbury Park. Later he was Bailiff for Epping Forest & Burnham Beeches. He published 'Parks, Open Spaces and Thoroughfares of London' in 1869.
