Black and white photograph of drainage work on Weather Hill, at RHS Garden Wisley. Staff and students can be seen working in the background. Pencil inscription on verso, 'Env. 54, 1, T. draining Board Walk on Battleston (1965?). This is wrong. This is drainage work on Weatherhill. Areas of the hill was holding a vast quantity of water (Note: Wisteria Bridge Hill, old glasshouse boiler chimney & Pines building). The date is probably near correct. John Battye 11.11.2003'
