Black and white engraved plate depicting Wentworth Woodhouse in Rotherham, Yorkshire, with two figures standing by the entrance to the house and two standing at a side door. The house was built for the 1st Marquess of Rockingham from c.1725 and is one of the largest stately houses in Europe. As of 2022, the house is owned by the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust. The book plate bears the imprints 'Publish'd as the Act directs April 1st. 1779, by W.Watts, Kemp's Row, Chelsea', 'T. Sandby del' and 'W.Watts sculpt'.
