The 'fertile grass' [with many seeds] Sagus (Raphia) comes from the Natural History Cabinet of the Ecole Centrale of the Departement de la Lys, Bruges, copied in 1802, there is a small one in this Collection, which I bought in the sale of the cabinet of Mr Hergodts [Mr Herggodts?] in the class of palm (ie classified as palms)'. Sagus farinebus is a synonym, the current botanical name is Raphia farinifera
