Description
Rosa willmottiae – commonly referred to as Miss Willmott’s rose. This species, introduced into western cultivation in 1904 by the plant collector E.H. Wilson, was named in honour of the British horticulturist Ellen Willmott. Miss Willmott sponsored many plant hunting expeditions to China and across the Middle East.
